The Love That Doesn’t Leave

Valentine’s week always shows up wrapped in pink bows, red roses, and heart-shaped everything. And while part of me loves the romance of it all, I also know this week can stir up a lot more than just excitement.

For some of us, it’s sweet dates planned and fresh flowers on the counter.
For others, it’s restless nights, unanswered prayers, healing hearts, or learning how to love ourselves in new ways.

And honestly? All of it belongs here.

This week isn’t just about romantic love. It’s about the many forms of love God brings into our lives — the love everybody is really longing for. A love that is real and steady. A love that grows you, softens you, and reminds you that you are deeply loved and deeply chosen.

A love that doesn’t leave.

Maybe this year, Valentine’s Day looks like:

Falling more in love with God
Learning to receive love without fear
Healing from something that didn’t work out in the past
Or simply choosing to treat yourself with gentleness, kindness, and care

Wherever you are, there is no rush. No comparison. No pressure to be in a certain season by a certain age.

Because love isn’t something you can only find in the world. It isn’t fragile or temporary or dependent on getting everything right.

And the most beautiful love story of all?
The one where you stop striving to be chosen and realize you already are — and have been since the beginning of time. Isn’t that the greatest love story of all?

This week, my hope for you is simple:

That you feel seen
That you feel beautiful and deeply special
That you let love look like gentleness instead of perfection

Whether you’re celebrating with someone, healing alone, or somewhere in between — you are exactly where you’re meant to be.

Happy Valentine’s week, sweet girl.
You are so loved. Always.

Praying for you, always,
Laura <3
